Unable to Highlight

I am using the Adobe Acrobat Mobile Version Premium and was able to highlight through chapter 7. Now I am on Chapter 8 and cannot highlight only underline, add comment, and erase. I have tried resetting; the latest version is 21.10.00 and troubleshooting for the past 2 hours and cannot identify the problem. Is there a limit to highlighting with a PDF book? Please help.

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description that you are unable to highlight text on a certain page. Would you mind sharing a few details to understand the issue better?

1. Check with the edit PDF tool, if the text is readable for editing?

2. Application version?

3. iOS version?

4. Try with any other PDF too, if you are facing the same issue?

 

Check if there is an update available for the application and update it to the latest version.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. See below for answers to your questions.

 

1. Check with the edit PDF tool, if the text is Readable for editing? Yes, is readable for editing. I am able to tap and drag but it does no highlight the word or sentence. The last highlight was.on Oct. 23rd. 

2. Application version? Latest update from Oct. 25th version  21.10.00

3. iOS version? 15.1

4. Try with any other PDF too, if you are facing The same issue? Not on my laptop version only on iPhone and iPad version.

Thanks for providing the details. Looks like the app versions are all up to date. We need to check on the file, is it possible to attach the file here?

Is it possible to share a video recording of the workflow i.e. highlighting the text, to check the issue with more clarity?
