Unable to rename files

Compared to apple which you can rename a file and also make a new folder, you cannot do that to Android? Am I missing something?

  2. Make and model of your device?

 

To rename a file:

  • From any file list, including Home, Files, and a list of search results:

    1. Tap three dots...

    2. Tap A 

    3. Enter a name.

    4. Tap Rename.

Hello,

 

having the same issue 16.6 iOS. Following these steps I still get the error 'unable to rename your file'

The directions are the same for iOS as they are for Android (the original question). Here is the link:

Can you show a screenshot of what you are seeing, including the name you are trying to use? Possibly you have an illegal character and need to change the name slightly.
