Hi @jcu246
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Could you please confirm a few things:
- Are you editing this in Acrobat desktop (Windows/Mac) or in the browser?
- Is this a fillable PDF form created in Acrobat, or was it created in another tool (like InDesign, Word, etc.)?
- Does this happen in just one specific file, or all PDFs with time fields?
From your description, it sounds like both time fields may have been given the same field name in the form. In Acrobat, when two form fields share the exact same name, they are automatically linked, meaning any change in one will reflect in the other. This is expected behavior if the field names match.
Try the steps below:
- Open the PDF in Acrobat desktop appliction
- Go to Tools > Prepare Form.
- Click on the Start Time field and check its Name in the right-hand panel.
- Click on the End Time field and compare the field name.
- If both fields have the same name (for example: Time), that’s the issue.
- Simply rename one of them.
