User on iPad unable to copy, edit or save docs on new adobe premium

As a new Premium user I am unable to edit documents with the Apple Pencil. Is this possible? Can I save an adobe file to an app that will support the pencil. The doc keeps. Asking for a password to permit editing and saving.
