Visual Bug regarding Highlights

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble here, especially with a document that size.

A few things would help pin this down: what device and OS are you using Acrobat Reader Mobile on, and how did you convert the 2,000+ highlights to underlines? Was that done one by one, through a batch/Find action, or via some other bulk method? Also, after making the change, did you save the file, then fully close and reopen it (not just switch away and back), and does the highlight still show?

This looks like it may be a rendering cache issue that doesn't get refreshed at that scale, rather than something with a known workaround.

Worth trying in the meantime:

• Fully close the file and reopen it (not just navigate away), to force a fresh render

• Check for a pending app update via App/Play Store and reboot the device once

• If possible, open the same file on a different device or in desktop Acrobat, to see if the visual mismatch is specific to mobile rendering or shows up everywhere

Let us know your device/OS and whether closing and reopening the file changes what you see.
