I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble you've had trying to complete this purchase.
First, an important note: please don't post your card number or any other payment details here or in any reply, even partially. This is a public forum, and our community guidelines don't allow sharing payment or personal information in posts. Payment is only ever collected through Adobe's own secure checkout, never by posting details in a thread.
Since this involves your specific payment attempt, our team will need to look at your account directly to see why the payment isn't going through. This isn't something we can verify from the community forum.
Could you please try the following:
Go to https://adobe.ly/4xx5pS2, sign in, and go to Plans to start the purchase from there directly rather than through the community.
Double check the card details are entered correctly, including the billing address matching what's on file with your card issuer.
Try a different browser or clear your browser's cache if the payment page isn't accepting input.
If the payment still won't go through after this, please contact our support team directly via chat, where an agent can safely take your payment details through a secure channel: Adobe Support.
Let us know how it goes, and please reach out if you need any assistance.
I believe it’s $49 or something like that. It’s to make corrections to a PDF file I want to pay for the full year. They won’t even take my payment like it’s doing whatever the hell wants to do. It won’t let me tell it what card to take it from
Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
A few details would narrow down why the trial isn't starting:
Which Adobe product are you trying to get a free trial for (Acrobat Pro, Adobe Scan Premium, something else)?
What device are you using?
And what exactly happens when you try? Does it show an error message, ask for payment details you'd rather not enter, or say something like "trial not available"?
One common reason trials don't offer themselves again: if this Adobe ID (or the same device) has already used a free trial for that product before, even a while ago, it typically won't qualify for a second one. Worth checking if that might apply here.
Also, if you still want to speak with someone directly, the official channel for that is here (requires signing in with your Adobe ID): Contact Adobe Support. Once signed in, click the contact us button in the lower-right corner and select the Chat option to reach a live agent.
Let us know the product, device, and exact message you're seeing, and we can point you in the right direction.
