    Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

We need more information for a better understanding:

    • Is this happening with one specific PDF or with all PDF files?
    • Are you using Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app or Adobe Scan?
    • Is your phone Android or iPhone? And which OS version?
    • Does the file open normally on a computer or another device?

In the meantime, here are a few things you can try:

    1. Check if the file itself is corrupted, try opening the same PDF in another PDF app on your phone or on a computer (if possible) if it’s black everywhere, the file may be damaged.

    2. Clear app cache (Android only), Go to Settings > Apps > Adobe Acrobat > Tap Storage, select Clear Cache restart your phone and try again

(Do not clear data unless you're okay signing in again.)

    3. Check Dark Mode / Night Mode: sometimes display settings can cause rendering issues.Try turning off system-wide Dark Mode. Also check inside Acrobat Mobile settings if any viewing mode is enabled

    4. Test with a small simple PDF: Download a simple test PDF (like a basic document from the web) and try opening it. If that opens fine, the issue may be related to, file size, complex formatting, embedded fonts or layers.

    5. Also, please check:

    • Is the Acrobat app fully updated from the App/Play Store?
    • Is your phone OS updated?
