Why is Adobe Acrobat unable to open large PDF files of 50 MB or more on my iPad mini 7 with iOS 27 and Acrobat version 26.08.01, while smaller files open normally, and when will an update be released to fix this issue?

To help us look into this, could you confirm the following?

• What exact error or behavior do you see when you try to open a large PDF? Does it show an error message, freeze, or just fail silently?

• Does this happen with every PDF over 50 MB, or only with specific files?

• Where are the files stored (on device, iCloud, a shared drive, email attachment, etc.)?

• Have you tried opening the same file in another app (like Safari or Files) to see if it opens there?

In the meantime, please make sure Acrobat is updated to the latest version available on the App Store, and try restarting the device once.
