Why is it asking for a password to open documnents qhen i didnt set one up

I had a document sent to me and I can't open it because it's protected by a password I didn't set. Please help

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

From the description, it looks like the sender has set a security pin which has to be feed in to view the document.

I suggest reaching out to the sender to either get a fresh copy of the file without the password or the actual password of the file.

We do not store passwords of file within our servers and I fear I might not be able to help here much with getting the password.
