Why was the color WHITE removed from the options when using the pencil/pen and highlighter?

The color WHITE worked as a form of whiteout to erase and remove errors and unwanted text/images on PDF documents. Now that there is no longer an option to use the color WHITE, I can no longer remove errors or unwanted information from PDF documents I use and create. The WHITE color was removed not to long ago and I want to know why. Without it, I have no use for ADOBE and will have to find something else.

Could you please confirm the version of Acrobat Reader installed on the phone/tablet?

To check the version, launch Acrobat Reader>tap three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen>Help>again tap three vertical dots>About Adobe Acrobat
