I can't open PDF attachments using acrobat reader on my android phone. It tells me I need acrobat for Mac or Windows. The files are not corrupted because I can open using my Windows PC

    Correct answer Amal.

    Hi there,

Thank you for sharing the update.

As mentioned earlier, if the issue is specific to a particular file, it is likely that the document is a Dynamic XFA (XML Forms Architecture) PDF. These types of PDFs are currently not supported in the Acrobat Mobile app.

To view such files, we recommend downloading the PDF to your device and opening it using the Acrobat or Adobe Reader desktop application, which fully supports Dynamic XFA forms.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to let us know.

    Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs, please try with a different PDF file and check.

If its a file specific issue, you are most likely trying to open a Dynamic XFA (XML Form Architecture) PDF. To view such pdf documents, we recommend you to download the file locally and open it with Acrobat/Reader desktop application.

Let us know how it goes.

My PC desktop app has no problem with the files. The android app won't open them although it has no problem with "regular" PDFs. I was able to convert the files in the desktop app by "printing ' to Microsoft Print to PDF and sending the new file to my phone.
