I'm trying to convert my resume and cover letter to a document as they are a PDF. When I try to do so it changes it, but it becomes super glitchy the words become bold and they double and merge together (this is with both docx. and 2003 word doc version), and I can't get rid of it.

Would you mind sharing the application you use for the conversion (Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat Reader Mobile)? This would help us understand the issue better and assist you accordingly.
