I recently updated to the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. When I receive a pdf as an attachment to an email, I can't save it to my hard drive. I could before. What's wrong?

Hi there,

Since the original query was initiated a long back. Please find a general response below-

Couple of things that needs to be checked-

1- Saving any email attachment to hard drive is MS Office process. Adobe Acrobat/Reader has nothing to do with this.

2- If you have opened the attachment directly to Adobe Reader and chosen File>Save As to save it, got the error message then share the message.

3- Try saving the file to a different location.

4- Install the latest patch of Adobe Reader DC, refer to Adobe Reader>Help>Check for update or refer to-DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Thanks,

Akanchha
