i am using the acrobat SDK  in c# and i wanna get the indexes of the pages that the user selected to be printed

Can someone tell me an easy, in general, way to find the stamp folder on a Windows based PC? On the Mac it's very easy but I don't know how to find the folder on a PC. I remember seeing something regarding that very thing but I cannot find it again. I know, I should have bookmarked it.

I have some validation code (below) that validates fields before a user can submit the form. I've created a few stamps using Acrobat Pro 10. What I'd like to know is, is it possible to use the same stamps I've created on my Mac to use them on a PC. At this point I don't know what version of Acrobat will be on the PC. Will I have to create the stamp all over again on the PC? Thanks.

I've created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC which will require a user to fill in the following fields: name, business name, phone number, email address, verify email address, & account #. All these fields must be filled out and what's entered must be validated. In the Validate tab for each field I see that I can enter a custom validation script. I have no knowledge of Javascript.How can I find the correct custom validation scripts to use for each field?Thanks.

I have a form and on that form I have a custom button to spawn a new page -var template = this.getTemplate("1");template.spawn(this.numPages, true, false);this.pageNum = this.numPages-1;When I add a few pages everything is works properly, fields are renamed etc.  Once I delete a page say page 4 of 5 pages the page deletes fine.  Page is deleted via a custom button that is on the spawned page -var response = app.alert("Are you sure you want to DELETE page" + (this.pageNum+1) + " ?", 2, 2);if(nResponse == 4) {    this.deletePages(this.pageNum,this.pageNum);    this.pageNum = 0;}Now when I spawn a new page after deleting a page it appears to duplicate the last page I spawned.  It does not rename the fields so it populates the fields with data from the last spawned page, any ideas?

I am working to update a form that has open-ended fields, but the ability to write anything is causing a problem with tracking. Is it possible to have Drop Down Menu 2 only display certain answers based on the selection of Drop Down Menu 1? I will also need to add a 3rd and 4th level to this so scaling would be ideal.

Hi all,I have made a form with dropdowns in Acrobat Pro and it works fine.But when a customer filled in the form and mail it back, something stange occur:The vallue of a dropdown field is correct, till it scrolls out the page in Reader.Then when scrolling up again, the vallue is reset to the standard value of tha specific product.Do anybody have an idea how it comes and most of all: how to solve this issue?I searched a lot on the internet, but couldn't find any solution.Thanks in advance!

I am trying to copy a fields contents so that I can have one set of fields be changed, and another set be read-only. I added a custom calculation script to one of the fields and everything seems to work - except... I have have a 23 character long field that starts to mess up after 16 characters of data. After 16 it starts being inaccurate. I'm guessing that this is due to the data type that the field has allocated. Stranger still - after it gets passed 20 digits or so, it starts displaying in scientific notation. Does anyone know how to fix this? Should I go about doing this a different way?

Hi My fields are "Legal Rent" & "Pref Rent"I want my new field "Rent Amount" to take the minimum value of the two above fieldsHowever, if the field "Pref Rent" is blank as is the case many times I only want the new field to populate the value in "Legal Rent" and not to take the minimum in that case which is "0"I am not so familiar with Java and I have tried pasting calculations I have found but have not been able to get anything to work for this one

I'm new to javascipting and need to create a form for work:We need to charge boaters a fee depending on the number of days staying (docking) and the boats berthage (length).I have a field that creates the total days from two drop down calendars currently. I also have have a field with a drop down selection of the boats length.However, I have no idea how to combined the two though? Here's what I need to calculate/charge from the two fields:If boat is staying less then 30 days I need to charge $20/dayIf boat is <18m  AND is staying longer then 30 days they are charged $260/monthIf boat is between 18-20m AND they are staying longer then 30 days charged $280/monthPlease help :S

HiI am using AVDocGetPageText to extract all text on the pages. On Win it works like the documentation says. The callback proc is called twice when I use it like this:AVDocGetPageText(avDoc, pageNum, NULL, ASAtomFromString("Text"), copyProc, NULL);First it returns the text with format "Text" and next with "UcsText". Now I can use ASTextFromUnicode to extract text from the page.BUT, on the Mac the callback is only called once and it only returns "Text". No "UcsText". In the documentation it looks like it should behave the same for both Win and Mac.  How can I get the "UcsText" on the Mac ?ThanksRune

Hi everyone,I have been working on accomplishing a task, that while I have the know-how on completing, is too large for my needs. Looking to see if someone has an idea on how to make this smaller in size as to reduce bogging down the form.Here is what I am doing. I have a medical form I need to complete. It is a list of medications. Each row has medication name, dosage, frequency, side effects, etc. I have a dropdown list for the medications - the list contained 43 common medications with an "Other" so it can be added if necessary. According to the medication chosen, three other fields in the same row are autopopulated - common medication name, what it treats, and side effects.The code I wrote works great. The problem is it is quite large with 43 medications. The page contains 11 rows. I would need to change the code for each row for it to autopopulate the corresponding fields. Is there an easier way to populate each row without needing to change each line of code according? It would b

I try to work with variable font size in multiline textfield. The auto font size property is insufficient because i want to specify a max and min font size (default seems to be 12 and 4 respectively). Since there appears a marker and scrollbar once a textfield starts to overflow or input is disabled on non scrollable textfields, i had the idea to implement a custom javascript solution. However i was unable to find a property or event which conforms to this described beahviour in the javascript documentation.Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction or otherwise can confirm that indeed there is no such feature.Cheers.

Hello,Is there a way to automate information onto a page with a button press? I'm familiar with macros and scripts but unfamiliar with Acrobat.Essentially, 30 times a day I have to open a cost report, sign it with the little signature I created (does not need to be digitial signature, just the one you type in), add the date and send it off. Is this a javascript? An action? etc...I can't find the information anywhere.Thank you!
