You can find attachments using PDDocGetNameTree in Acrobat SDK.However, I want to find the number of MAX pages and the named destination of the attached file.

I've created a form where our technicians can select one of three boxes for courses they are required to take. Depending on the box they select a field will either populate with $0 or a specific dollar amount. I now want to add the fields with the dollar amounts and I can't get adobe to do that for me.Here is the sample script I'm using based on something I found online: event.value=this.getField(“Text37”).value+this.getField(“Text38”).value;It's not wrking. I am trying to prompt Field B to become required only when Field A contains specific text such as "Apples", "Oranges", and "Bananas".I have tried this code in the Custom Calculation Script of Field B:if (this.getField("A").value=="Apples"){event.target.required=true}else{event.target.required=false}Which works, but it won't work when Field A has other words like "Oranges" and "Bananas" with this script:if (this.getField("Name").value=="Apples", "Oranges", "Bananas"){event.target.required=true}else{event.target.required=false}How can I prompt field B to be required if field A has any of these words in it?

On Adobe XI Pro form tool how do I write a calculation such as excel formula =IFERROR(G14/C14,"")? When the form is blank the cell is not acting correctly with a return of zero ($0.00). Current simple field notation is PV1/OP with the return in a %.

I designed a form using InDesign and exported it to Interactive PDF.I need to cause each checkbox to "check" when any text is entered in the text field beside it. I have over 30 checkboxes, and figured how to do this using the following code in Acrobat Pro (as a custom calculation script under the text box properties). if (event.value==""){this.getField("Check Box 3").value="Off"}else{this.getField("Check Box 3").value="Yes"}It seems to work, however before I repeat this 30 times for every single text box / checkbox combo, is there a way to make further edits to the layout in InDesign after adding all these custom check box actions? AfternoonI am creating a form and would like to have 4 radio buttons that when clicked on spawn a hidden template (this bit i have got).  what i also want it do do is if i select a different radio button it spawns another associated template page but deletes the other. This is so only one template page can be visible at any time.So i have 4 templates, lets say "Template1", "Template2", "Template3", "Template4".Is this possible. I am new to java so the simpler it is explained the better.Thanks

Is there a javascript to format a text field to have number format and allow text as well?

I've come along way with my programming of Javascript in Acrobat for forms and still have A LONG way to go!  I am not an expert, but always looking to improve.  I get overwhelmed if it gets too complicate but I have noticed my programming knowledge is growing as I overcome obstacles.  Can anyone help me with a scripting issue?  Here is my current situation:My goal is to allow the person filling out the form to make 2 manual entries based on a value.  Line #16 is the value.  Line #17 and #18 are manual entries that no matter what they enter on each line will give the result on line 16.  I'd like to be able to program as simple as possible (since my knowledge is simple) as script that if i make an entry on Line #17 then #18 will automatically populate the difference to equal to Line #16.  On the flip if I decide to make an entry on Line #18 then #17 will populate the difference to equal Line #16.  This needs to be this way not knowing which li

I would like to set tab order going from page one then to page two and then back to page one. The only way i know how to do this is to set the tab order on the left hand side in Acrobat.  Is there a way to write a jave script to allow me to tab from one page to the next and then back?  I can't figure this out.  THANKS again for any advice!updated the title : Malcolm Thomson

I am trying to create a survey with multiple groups of radio buttons. Currently, I have 9 different groups that each have 6 buttons (representing level of satisfaction from N/A to Very Satisfied). Essentially what I am trying to do is make it so that if you select either one of two of the buttons in the group, it will display a hidden field below the group of radio buttons. My problem is that in the group, lets refer to the buttons as button 1-6, if you select button 2, the script i have in the Mouse Up action works properly; it will display the hidden field when selected and hides it when it is unchecked or any other box is selected. However, I copied and pasted the same script in to button 6 with the Mouse Up action, and the field will not display or hide. Below is the JavaScript I am using. Is there a script that will display a date in a set format no matter how it is entered.  Ex. entered 021119 or 2/11/19 and auto displayed as 11-Feb-19.

I created a PDF form and am using radio buttons. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I have been creating fillable forms for about a year now but want to take the extra step. I have 15 different group of radio buttons named "Observation Group 1 to  Observation Group 15" and in each group i have 3 choices " compliant, non-compliant and not applicable". i would like to be able to total each of the 3 choices ( how many compliant, how many Non-compliant etc) in another box. I think I would need a script file for this. I think it goes in the "Calculate" or in the "action" properties but really have no clue how to do it.  I have read a lot of this forum and would love any help you could bring. In my head it doesn't seem very hard when I explain what I want but I might be wrong.
