Hello! I have a form that maps in information from an outside source when opened.  This form is used for 2 separate functions - the first function is to change a name and the second function is to change an address.  I currently have the address mapped in so when the form opens the address is displayed.  However, i would like that information to DISAPPEAR or become hidden if the checkbox labeled "Address Change" is checked.  I figured out a way to make the previous name APPEAR if the name change checkbox is checked but i can't seem to figure out how to make information DISAPPEAR when a checkbox is checked.  Every code I seem to enter makes the address hidden when the form is produced; but if i check the Address Change checkbox and then UNCHECK it the information appears.  I don't want that.  I want the info to be there automatically unless that box is checked.  I'm semi new to creating forms and have 0 background or training with JavaScript (minu

Hello!I have a 2000 document, which needs to be signed manually (u know with a PEN).So I scanned my signature, I vectorized the scanned signature and I added that file to Adobe Acrobat.I can see my signature in the "Comment Section" - "Add stamp" - "Dynamic" - My Signature.My question: Can I add this stamp on my 2000 pdf document in a single click, with a slight rotation (+- 20degrees) and a random location  (a given location to which I add +- 1 inch <up-down-right-left>)?The pages are all the same format.I have Adobe Acrobat X

I have a document with 48 drop down lists (same info on each).  The dropdown lists are each named individually (PayTypeDesc Job1Emp1, PayTypeDesc Job1 Emp2, PayType Job1Emp3 etc.)  I would like each dropdown list to autopopulate to a separate table below where I named each text field  PayType Job1Emp1, PayType Job1Emp2, PayType Job1 Emp3 etc.   For example, dropdown list named PayType Job1Emp1 will autopopulate to field named PayType Job1Emp1, then dropdown list named PayType Job1Emp2 will autopoulate to Job1Emp2 etc. When I entered the following script it worked on the first line but it didn’t work on the second one and I have another 47 to go, I just can’t seem to figure out how to make each one do it’s own individual purpose.  Do I have to give each one a different Script Name and if so what do I name it?I followed what is on this website which is how I got the script below https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/change_another_fieldUnder dropdown Properties

Hi,up to now i have only used document level java-script (set a link into the document and run the code by mouse-up).(Acrobat X Standard)Now there are a lot of pdf in a foulder and the same java-script-code should run in each document.I want to automate this procedure:Open Doc1 and run the code.Close Doc1Open Doc2 and run the codeClose Doc2and so on.So i need a possibility (Java-Script) to do that.Thanks a lot for your help!

I need a possibility to convert pptx file to pdf from my app. Can I use Acrobat SDK to achieve this? If yes, should Actobat be installed on each machine that does it?Regards

Hey everyone,Hope all is well.I am trying to prevent the user from hitting the enter key on a multi-line text field. It is important that the field has 512 characters and I have already limited it upon formatting.However, whenever the individual uses Enter to write in another line, it appears that something happens and when I import the data there seems to be more characters (?) and I get an error. If the same text is entered but no enter key has been pushed, I can successfully import.Is there any way I can prevent the user from hitting key 13?I looked around and it seems to be something related to preventDefault, so would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction or share any piece of code that could be used.Many thanks,

Hi all,Can use same help on trying to hide fields on multiple pages that was created from a hidden template page. I'm using a script I found online to place the file name of a PDF within the document itself (we use the file name as a purchase order number). I have a text box with properties under the Format tab, format category Custom, Customer Format Script isvar name = this.documentFileNamename = name.substr(0, name.lastIndexOf('.'));event.value = name;When first entered as text field property it adds file name to the field (yay!), but when the file name is changed the text field doesn't update, just stays the same. We use the file name as a reference for a purchase order system, so it'd be nice if the bookkeeper could see what the file name was that printed the document. Any ideas on how to get it to update the text field with the current file name, even when the file name changes?Thanks, Mike

Expensive, good afternoon.I am creating a material request form with 08 columns and 10 rows. The first column refers to the materials, where I created a drop-down list with 534 lists. Each item has a code. I want to click on an item in the drop-down list and the code for this item appears in the second column in a text field. How to do this? When will CEP be supported for Acrobat?

Hi all,I am currently using Adobe Acrobat DC (not pro), and so I do not have access to document level javascript for some reason. However, what I do have, is a form that I created a long time ago, with a date and time field that automatically fills updates when the form is opened. However, when I copy the exact field into a different form, the date and time stays as what it was when I copied it over, and won't update when the form is reopened. I can't remember how I originally set the date and time field up, but I know for a fact that I have never owned Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (And so have never had access to document level javascript).How can I set this up without Document level javascripting that executes when the form is opened? How is it possible that somewhere in the code of my old form it already sets the date and time but it's not done within the date and time field itself? How would I go about finding where that Javascript is?If anybody has any ideas, I would love to hear them.Tha

I have created a Javascript Window attached to a Radio button where upon selecting Yes, some text fields populate and upon selecting No, the fields are hidden. I realize that if yes was selected by mistake, the fields still remain visible when you return to the window and click no. I've found the correct JavaScript for validating required fields upon a document action (Print/Save/Close) with a popup prompt; but I am looking to get rid of the Red Boxes (as they are ugly) by either searching for all blank fields or changing the color of the red box. All fields within the form are required, and as a result the form becomes very clunky. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am really confused by the SDK licensing based on the forum posts and the license terms on the Acrobat website. I wish to build plug-in that will be implemented with Acrobat Pro DC version only and not with Adobe Reader. Are there any cost attached to the SDK? To my understanding, if we are not planning to have the plugin for Adobe Reader, there is no need for RIKLA program. However, do we need to pay or get approval for plugins for Acrobat Pro DC?Are there any restrictions in distributing plug-in made using the SDK for users with Acrobat Pro DC only ?

I'm not sure if I want to do the monthly subscription or not. How many computers can I use my subscription on with one monthly subscription?
