I am looking to create a form data exchange to create a new PDF with the imported data, add pages from a PDF repository.  I can build the PDF and prepare it for distribution but the data exchange with SOAP is a whole new world.  I had used ADBC within our network and it worked great.  I am working with our programmer who has already set up the WSDL.  I am just looiking for a solid example of how to connect, request, receive and populate PDF. I believe a web page that managed the front end would work as well - Get the data and open and work with an existing PDF form.  I have downloaded the Acrobat SDK but I haven't found a SOAP exchange sample in the mix.

Hi All,We are using iManage Filesite 9.0 client as a document management system which uses an API "IManAcrobatReader10.api" to display Save to Worksite option under the File menu. I need to access this using the Action "Execute the Menu item" but I only Save As option in there is which is local save to disk. I need to somehow call this API probably using a java script. I am not familiar doing that. Could someone provide probably an example of code. I will appreciate the help!

Hello Team,This is with regards to an issue in Adobe Reader.We are using a custom SAP application, where user is having an option to generate the HTML page in pdf form and print the same (Once the pdf form is generated).The issue is when users try to generate the pdf from the HTML page , the pdf form is getting generated but the fields are not getting displayed, but when we double click on the pdf content then data is displaying.

So I spent hours making a complex fillable PDF form for a company, I understand how the email and download buttons work. I have done hours of research to try and get this working, using both the installed send mail function and making my own Javascript send mail button. What is happening is these buttons are not even clickable in browser, when I try to send via reader i get an error that says "we couldn't attach your file". The only button that works is the Print button. I am unable to get this to work in my Chrome browser which is what I need. Is there any way to get send email and download/save button to work on browsers? It seems pointless to have these buttons if you cant even use them. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi guys,Thanks for any help, I'm AWFUL with javascript and i've been scratching my head on this. I'm trying to figure out the right script for making text box tiers essentially. "Text1" is the lowest tier, and the last wanted option."Text2" is the preferred information. I want to make it so that "Text3" shows "Text2", but if it's not available, "Text1" fills it in.I've minimal to no javascript experience, so help with this is greatly appreciated!! We have been auto populating dates on pdfs for a little over a year. I have some code in my document action "WillClose", but my script is called only once. Why this is happening?I have Acrobat DC.

I have a form that requires 7 day history from date of application. The user inputs the application date. I then have 7 separate fields that should auto calculate the past 7 days from the user input. All,I have a Fillable PDF that I created from an Excel file, and that Excel file has drop down menus in it. The descriptions in the drop down menu are long, and when pasted into the PDF drop down menu, it will only show a part of the text. After reading hours of other forums, I know that I have a few choices on how to make this happen. One is to use "\n" script and the other is to use Java script to write a code that will connect the drop down menu to a text box. However, I have no idea how to write either of those codes needed to complete those, nor do I have a good sense of where they need to go. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I need to hide a text box based on a radio selection in two instances.I am running Adobe DC Pro.I have 2 radio buttons in a group with a text field box for each choice. Radio buttons are named "Group3" with unique names "Choice1" & "Choice2". Text field boxes are named "G3C1" and "G3C2"Goal: If Choice1 is selected, then text box G3C2 becomes hidden. As the title states, I need to know how to force a hyperlink to open in a new window within a browser.Our users will be viewing an online PDF training manual that has hyperlinks to YouTube videos. We need one of two things to happen and either solution will be a win for us at this point1) How do you make it so these links open in a new window/tab within a browser?2)How do you get the users to be placed back at the place in the PDF where they clicked the link? As of now, the links open in the same window. When the user goes back, they are left at the very top of the PDF again.All help is very much appreciated!Thanks

Button is on the first page of the pdf. Hello,I work for a finance company that uses an uses a designated department for larger loan approval. There are multiple documents that are generated already as form pdfs or are hand written and scanned to a network drive. For a example the required documents that are to be sent are a: Coversheet(form pdf), Loan Scoring(hand written), Application (originally pdf, but printed and some hand written then scanned), and a credit report (pdf). All in that order. Right now, we currently print/hand write everything and scan it all back in to the network drive as one file and e-mail it. What I'm interested in doing is minimizing the printing and creating a button on the Coversheet that will allow me to import the have to be scanned items (which generate as pdfs) and the credit report, and output to a new file that has the forms flattened and the separate pdfs combined in order.
