Questions

I have a form that will be going through several users; one user will be selecting Y/N for 5 different radio buttons which need to affect the value of a 6th button. My experience with Javascript is limited, so while I have an idea as to how, I'm faltering in the specifics.If any of the 5 are "No", I need the 6th radio button to automatically change to the "No" selection. I'm planning on an action triggered by mouse-up on each of the "No's" to run a javascript, which would change the default value of the 6th radio button to "No", but I'm not entirely sure how that should be written.If all of the five are "Yes", the 6th button should automatically change to "Yes". Again, I'm assuming a similar action/javascript as above on each of the "Yes" buttons that would add in some "IF" statements, that way if they're selected in any order the code still works.Thanks for any help you can give!

HiI am using an excel table to fill fields in a pdf after mapping the xml structure of pdf in Excel.This is done via a vba code in excel. In synopsis, excel created a map/dictionary of data, calls in acrobat, opens the form, loads the map.In this loading, the url on the submit button is not getting updated.Any idea on what vba code will ensure that the url of a button on the pdf will also get updated by the values in the excel.Ironically enough the button is available in the xml structure.Any help will be appreciated.Kind regardsAmit

Hello, any help will be greatly appreciated.I have a sale form I use for work.  Some products, we have to charge 7.5% sales tax, but not on other products.  I am hoping to be able to create something like a checkbox next to each sale item I can click so that 7.5% sales tax is added to that line item.  The way I currently have the form set-up is that I multiply the subtotal box * 0.075 and that gives me the sales tax total (for the entire sale).  Thank you in advance.

I'm not really sure if I am asking this correctly.  I know very little about javascript.   I created a pdf form that is used by officers to track daily tasks in relation to a certain project.  There are several lines- each line a different task or action.  Example:Each row has a start and stop time.I know how to create a button that will put a timestamp in a field.   There are 24 rows in this sheet, so to do it the way I know how - would be 48 buttons (one button per row for start, one button per row for stop). That's a lot of buttons and a lot of real estate on my form, even if the buttons are tiny.Is there a way to have a button that timestamps the next empty time field? I am not sure that makes sense, but have like 1 button that when clicked - puts the current time in the next "not null" time field?Thank you.

I have a document that I want to incorporate attach file buttons in; however, these buttons are by and large useless when you have a situation where you have multiple questions requiring a user to upload files that correspond to that particular question.For example, say you have three questions. For questions one through three, you offer the user one attach file button per question, yet the button you click to upload your file will not put that file in a spot that corresponds to the question for which the button had been made, meaning that if I were to upload files in response to questions one through three in my PDF and later decide that I need to replace the file I'd uploaded for question one, it will go to the bottom of my attachments queue and not actually replace the file: I would then have four files, two being out of place. Background: I have a PDF for reporting purposes where the second page repeats as many times as needed. When using the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to build the MST for both Reader and Acrobat Pro, what does this mean under Default viewer for PDF Files --> "On Windows 10 this option will only set default PDF viewer for browsing and file preview." I cannot find anything online to explain this not even in Adobe Support. I chose the SDK forum since there isn't a selection for the Customization Wizard. I would hope you all know the Customization Wizard for working on Reader and Pro. Thank you.

I have created a form in adobe acrobat pro with active check mark buttons that i would like users to be able to check/uncheck when they fill out the pdf form.  Now I am trying to figure out a way to automate the insertion of two jpegs into each of my pdf forms.  How do I go about doing this?  Is it even possible to batch automate in Acrobat pro? or should this be done in photoshop? I have 300 images and I need to insert 2 images on one identical pdfs.  help is greatly appreciated!

Good morning everyone,I'm in need of some assistance. i'm working on a form for one of my state reps. I have 2 questions that need some scripting help or answers. These forms are not going to be populated for submitting, only for printing. Nothing emailed or nothing saved. They are set to read only so the data is never saved. These forms will be used by multiple locations and multiple users so simplicity is my major concern. However i need to be able to make this work so that if one of the users do not select an option from the dropdown box, and also one for a radio circle, that the form is not allowed to be printed until the information is entered. Now, technically all i really need is the form to be able to display an error message and not let them move on or print until one of the options is selected. In other words it won't allow the form to be printed with the blank values. Must have one of the 5 options selected in order to print the form. 1: how do i made my Date line automatica

This script has me baffled and if you have suggestions on the script direction that I should go, I would be eternally grateful and will bake a cake for the correct solution! The goal is to add this script to a page that can spawn additional lines as well as additional pages if needed. But I can’t put the horse in front of the cart. The script I have is not working as I intended for acrobat reader (it works fine on the PC Acrobat DC. There are 4 manufacturers that I have in drop downs/combo boxes, then an additional combo for a brand with selections and yet another combo with color selections. When I save it to document cloud and access the file with an Ipad the script runs fine; but if I change it to another manufacturer or null, it won’t select the brand or color to that manufacturer or even back to null.
