I'm trying to create a fillable form where there are two circle shapes and a line of text next to them - somewhat of a timeline checklist. I'd like my team to be able to change the color of the circles from white to either red, yellow or green - preferably via a drop down. If drop down isn't available, that's fine, but I need another solution BESIDES making color-filled comment shapes. These are checklists that we'll be customizing many times a week so we need to make it as user-friendly as possible. Hi all,I have been trying to get the 'adobepdfsilent' example to work without any success. When i run it it jams up in the print process routine 'PrinttoAdobePDF'.if i rem out the 'createnowindow' and 'windowstyle properties I see the printer dialog and can click through it but if it's left in silent mode it just stops. I'm assuming it's actually waiting on something. I have a form and one of the text fields is called BPI am tryning to figger out a way to have an alert =, if the BP (Blood Pressure) is >=160/100 an alert will pop up "High Blood Pressure!"and if the blood pressure is <= 90/60 an alert will pop up "Low blood pressure!"please any hlep

I found a PDF document containing a really complex code (at least from my point of view) where all the fields contains both "OnFocus" and OnBlur" the following action:If(handleEvent!=undefined)handleEvent(event);And the rest of the code is placed on a document level (more or less 15'000 lignes).One part of te code is producing a readable barcode into Acrobat Reader. I was wondering if it is possible to have a Javascript tool panel that will "float" and allow the user to still navigate the pdf? I am wanting this panel to only display on page 2 of my document. I would also love if it could collapse or minimize out of the way. I'm not familiar with coding languages at all, but I'm trying to make a conditional equation on an Acrobat form.  This is what I've pieced together by looking at other forums.  Could I have someone fix whatever is wrong with it? I am brand new to all of this and I am trying to write a simple script to export the data in a PDF to an XML file.When trying to create a new script all I get is a box that pops up saying GoTo then once I click this it asks for a Line Number and that's as far as it goes. I have read that this should open the JavaScript editor and it does not.Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I have created an Action script to place an X in text fields on page 1 if a corresponding check box is ticked which is located on  other pages of the document.The pdf  file has multiple text fields on page 1 with the name of the text field beginning with C1.In the rest of the document there are multiple check boxes with the name of the check box beginning with C1.There are the same number of text fields and check boxes.If the first check box  is ticked, then the first text box on page 1 should then have an X in the field.If the second check box is ticked, then the second text box on page 1 should then have an X in the field etc.I am  unsure how to capture the check box as a variable into the text field, if anyone can provide assistance that will be most appreciated.for (var i = 0; i < this.numFields; i++) { var fname = this.getNthFieldName(i); var f = this.getField(fname);if (fname==null) continue;if ( f.type == "checkbox" && fname.substring(0,2) === "C1"

I'm using this script that when opens doc to the first page then automatically goes to the second page. Works fine, but the first page has text on it I would like to be able to read but the doc goes to the second page so fast there isn't enough time to read the text on the first page. What I need help with is how to change this script that would open to the first page (say for 5 seconds) then go to page two? Can someone tell me how to do this? What I am trying to do is check 1 box if radio group 1 is selected as male and the radio group 2 is selected as Yes while checking a different box if radio group 1 is selected as female and radio group 2 is selected as yes. I need to do multiple scripts throughout my pdf for various sets of check boxes. The check boxes are valued as 1 so as to sum up to a total at the bottom of the form.

editing script for a pdf form and ive never done this before. so i got values that were hidden to be visible like my manager wanted, but i need these values to be hidden when only one dropdown item is selected.

I have an invoice with a section that includes a "Tax" field. I have a simple equation in this field that calculates the tax based off the amount listed in the "Total" field. The equation simply reads: "Total * 0.0825"However, I want to be able to select a checkbox called "TaxExempt" that will make the value in the "Tax" field be "0.00". I need to create an interactive dialog box that allows the user to select an image to be loaded as an icon into the stamp just before placement. Is this possible? Or can this be accomplished without a dialog box?

I am trying to create am IMAP Windows Service and attach an event to the OnReceivingDataStream of a email server such as google.  This part I have figured out already.  The idea behind this is that Adobe Sign has a way to auto email when a document comes in signed.  I want to embed hidden fields inside the document that have folder paths and a unique ID so my service knows how to choose which site and what folder to push the signed document to.  I saw in the Rest Client API (echo sign) there is a way to pull the form fields off the adobe object.  My issue is I have a byte array for a file.  I need code to convert that byte array to the adobe sign object so I can get fields off it.  I know I can use the rest api and just search for the signed docs; but, my plan is to be able to do this in real time and not have to schedule a search.

I works beautifully on a PC or Mac within Reader however when the form is opened on a mobile device also within Reader the button does absolutely nothing. Is this a compatibility issue with mobile platforms? HiI have created a form for producing formal Certificates of Conformity and I need to record each one when it is printed.  Is it possible to create an instruction to write certain form field values to an Excel spread sheet register when the document is printed?  I've tried digging around the forums for this kind of subject but haven't found anything.Thanks in advanceChris
