Hi I create an interactive PDF files up to 2M, when I fill in data and saves the filethe file grows. In the current case file grows from 1.9M to 11MWhy did the file grow? How can I prevent such a large change in a file?I have Acroat  Reader DC  ThanksRonen

I developed form in AEM Forms Designer with radio button that show/hide Flowed Subform. That give me to hide subform without blank space. I had an issue today where I couldn't send a PDF form I had been working on to a coworker, and found out that the form was being flagged by our server as a virus (MAL/PdfEx-C). I traced back through the changes I made (a previous version had no problems posting) and was finally able to track it down to a function I had added to a field's Custom Format event. In that event, I needed to sort an array of checkboxes to keep them in the proper order and concatenate their values. I added a function to do the sorting, and this was what was being flagged by our server. I moved the sort function out of the Custom Format event into a standard JavaScript code module, and had no problems then emailing the file. I basically need a formula involving two fields, let's name them Field1 and Field2.So if Field1 is less than or equal to 2000 then Field2=150.However, if Field1>2000 then Field2=Field1 multiplied by .075.Any ideas what the script would look like??Thank you!!

I am working on a pdf file and have gotten to work with hover states (mouse enter, mouse out) and mouse up/downThe one issue I'm running into is when I keep the state on (showing a layer) on click and making sure if I have any other layer I have previously selected is turned off.I did do this by going through each layer and turning it off on mouse up, but I have a lot of layers and that can be a lot to do for each button.  Is there an easier way?I tried using on mouse up var docOCGs = this.getOCGs();for (var x=0; x < docOCGs.length; x++) {    docOCGs.state = false;}---- and then another actionvar docOCGs = this.getOCGs();for (var x=0; x < docOCGs.length; x++){    if(docOCGs.name == "DBC: National")    {        docOCGs.state = !docOCGs.state;    }}but it turned off all layers except DBC Natoinal.  and there are some layers that I still want to show.  I tried locking them,

HelloI work with hundreds of PDF files which I have to go through and set up the layout for each one manually.  It would be great if I could set up something that when a file opens, it changes the layout for the file to Layout: Single Page and Magnification: Fit to page, then saves.  Can anyone direct me to an idea how to do this?  New to Adobe somewhat and this would save me a LOT of work.Thanks!

I have a ton of PDF documents that I need to OCR in order to mark up, search and analyse (literature review). I have Acrobat DC and understand that simply putting a document into Edit mode by clicking Edit PDF from the Tools menu Acrobat will OCR the document in the background.Except it doesn't seem to work. And my last two posts have gone unanswered. So I have decided to get a little basic.Has anyone used DC to OCR an existing document? How did you do it?Has anyone used Adobe Acrobat DC to OCR an academic document?Am I the only bunny who can't get this to work?Thanks

I am completely new at javascript and I don't know all the terminology so it might take some dumbing down in response. I am attempting to generate a random number between 0 and 1 so I would like it to look like .1234 or .9999. It has to be four digits and I don't necessarily need it to lock once entered. I would only need to print that page and hit my radio button and generate a new list of numbers. We have code previously using AppExit() method to close Adobe Reader 11 after printing using DDE. Now with Adobe Reader DC, the same AppExit() method only exit the currently opened document, but the Adobe Reader DC application is still opened.Does anyone know what is the DDE method we should use to exit Reader DC application instead of the opened document? Or how should we exit the application using DDE? Much appreciated!
