I apologize in advance. I am sure this has been asked and answered here more than once already, however I am not getting anything when I search and I am sure that is due to my ignorance on the subject and not searching it the right way.My questionI am building a form for a contract. In the Contract I have term limits, for example 3 years or 5 years. This term is referenced several times in the document in various ways. For example: 3 years, three (3) years, 36 months.I want to be able to choose from a picklist either 3 or 5 and have it auto populate the other fields with their version required.If 3 years is selected in field1, than for field2 = "three (3)", field3 = "36"I hope I am asking this the right way.I appreciate your help.

It was hard to write a concise leading question for this one... I create and manage files for several different companies. These forms are often similar in structure, and often have many of the same field names. For example, both Companies A & B have two different locations. The user selects a location by choosing a radio button. The field "LOCATION_NAME" contains a script that displays the name of the location dependent upon the radio button selection.Yesterday I happened to be working on both forms (two separate files) at the same time. I was testing out some code and noticed that Company A was showing location info from Company B. The script for "LOCATION_NAME" in the file for Company A, had changed to the same script as Company B.Is this a known issue? I've been working on forms in this manner for years and I've never had this problem before.

I'll try to make this as simple as possible... I have two columns of values (numbers) on a form I'm working on. The end goal for the user is for the value in Column A (TotalField) to equal the value in Column B (VerValue). I have written a function that compares the values, and displays one of two buttons depending on the result: either a red circle if the values are not equal, or a green circle if they are.Here's where it gets funky. In testing the function, the red circle appeared when the values were equal, and the green when they were not. Upon switching the conditions it displays the correct result. Below is the function (written the way it is currently working, which shouldn't be correct) and the code that calls it (placed in the validation script of each field in Column B). I am developing a scope sheet for a construction company.  I want to have the employee/user to get to the room size portion of the document to be able to put in: 5,3 to represent 5'3" but once they enter/tab out of that text box it converts to 5.25.  I can do last conversion (converting to a decimal) - I am stuck on having the "Feet,Inches" / "5,3" - represent 5'3" format.  I'm also up for any suggestions that would solve this issue any other way (and most likely easier since I always tend to make things complicated) - Thank you all in advance!

I have a two page doc. It's a spreadsheet that I fill in quantities. The problem I'm running into is, at times, I run out of space and fill in fields. I want to be able to add a additional page(s) when needed. Would using a template be the answer? If it is, I just don't know how to do it. I've searched thru the tools menu and found something named Template. The thing is when I click to add the page, the page disappears. It's a bit confusing and I can't figure out how to make a template page from the spreadsheet page. Can someone help me get this done and explain how to get the most out of using a template. I have added the both files types (xlsx, pptx) in s_code.js. But It isn't shown in the download file download report. Is it possible to create trusted functions on a tablet (Android or iOS)? I want to allow the user to click a button and it will save the form to a specific location, with a filename based on a couple of fields on the form. The button calls a function in the AppUser directory, because it needs to be a "trusted function." This works for Desktop (Windows). Can I create this functionality for an Android or iOS tablet?

I have 2 printers. One is specially bought for shipping labels.All my shipping labels are generated pdf files with smaller dimensions (153,8 x 106,2 mm, let's say A6 format).As I use the other printer on the same machine (iMac) for all "normal" A4 pdf documents, I always have to be careful not to waste shipping labels, using Acrobat Reader DC taking into account the last chosen printer will be preselected in the print dialog box. I recently used Thom Parker's "Changing another field with combo box (drop down) selection" article (Thanks Thom!) to make a form that has two text boxes and one drop down. Depending on what you select in the drop down, the two text boxes are populated with unique sentences. What I would like to do is have an additional drop down that contains a word or number selection that when chosen would place it into one of the sentences. For my form, I have a drop down that you select why you are advising someone, which populates the 'Reason for Advising' text field with a small explanation and also populates 'Plan of Action' with a short summary of what we intend to do. Right now I have created an underlined section in the sentence where the user can simply type additional information, but I would like to have a second drop down that they could choose from to populate that area of the sentence. Hi,  I am trying to tweak a timesheet that I have added a dropdown box that has dates entered into the <Options>, <Item List> as "1/6/2018" and every 14 days til the end of the year. Where I am stuck is trying to get the javascript that will take the chosen 'Pay Period Ending' date and add to the 14th date field. Then I am trying to get all the other fields to start from this date -1 so that each date of the two-week period is shown. This way, the dropdown date will automatically update the pay period dates. I made some progress following these instructions https://answers.acrobatusers.com/How-autofill-date-field-based-field-selection-q286091.aspx and got the end date to reflect my date but could not get subsequent fields to -1 from the other for the staggered dates I need. The only other issue was date format in that drop downs are MM/DD/YYYY  but the 14 date fields for column hours tally are too small and need to be MM/DD. Thank you.
