I want to access the C# base COM component (i.e., tlb file) from the Adobe Plugin Code.Please suggest me how to use the broker process in order to achieve the accessibility of .net based COM component even when the Protected Mode is enabled.I was able to create a Adobe Reader plug-in by modifying the “BasicPlugin” sample.My plug-in contains few buttons. When the toolbar buttons are selected the application should display a form.The form is written in C# and the plug-in in VC++.I was using interop to access the C# code from plug-in code.Unfortunately, it does not work when Reader Protected Mode is ON.Thanks.

Good Morning,We have a user with Windows 10 Pro x64 and Acrobat Standard DC getting a unusual message when trying to open PDFs in IE11.Thats all I get, nothing more. I have reinstalled it completely even using the cleaner tool from Adobe...still no luck.Any ideas?

I know the correct way of getting the selected row is by iterating over dialog.store()[itemId].aRows and finding the row that has the "Select" property set. So I tried programmatically iterating over the rows and setting the "Select" property to true for the row I want to select but it doesn't seem to visually select the row even after calling dialog.load({ itemId: data });

I have been working on this form for a few months now.  I've taken it from 81 KB to over 1 MB.  I'm afraid that if I put too much script into it, it'll freeze or crash on the user.  Is this possible?

Good morning,I have managed to get the stamp to produce the date, however I am unable to get it produce a fillable field. As stated in the description, I am new to java and adobe, I am a quick learner but am unfamiliar with how java works so I have been trying to cut and paste script but have been unsuccessful. If someone could give me the coles notes on Java or run through how to do this task and I'll look into getting some education on Java later that would be great.Thanks,John M.

Hi,I am trying to change the crop box by a 10th of its height and length on every page of a PDF. So if the 1st page is 100 by 100 it would be come 110 by 110. I'm trying to come up with a script that would function as an if/then scenario.  I very new a writing in JavaScript and have done a reasonable job developing an interactive form.  My form has a section where there are 3 lines of information that adds up to a number.  That number can be either a positive or a negative number which would populate in field "l100".  The other field consists of a number that adds up three fields "l37"+"l38"+"l39" which will always be a positive number this populates in field "l41".  "l41" final number will be determined if field "l100" is a positive or a negative number.  If "l100" is a positive number then "l41" will be the sum of "l37"+"l38"+"l39"+"l100".  If "l100" is a negative number then "l41" will be the sum of "l37"+"l38"+"l39". How to remove watermark from pdf programatically in .net using adobe object type library

I wrote a Javascript in Acrobat for a form that I'm working on.  The result could be either a positive number or a negative number that populates as my answer. I30 is supposed to yield the difference between I28 less I29.  If I28 populates a number $1,000 and nothing shows in I29 then the result in I30 would be $1,000.  This is correct.  If nothing shows in I28 and $1,000 populates in I29 then I30 is supposed to show as (1,000) because I28 less I29 would equal (1,000).  This result is not showing up.  I cannot figure out why.  I'm wondering if my validation script is the issue.  I've included this below the script.  Any suggestions?  Thank you so much for any input.  (Note:  I am learning and trying to figure out how to write this code)var theField = this.getField("l28");var theValue = theField.value;var theField2 = this.getField("l29");var theValue2 = theField2.value;if (+theValue - +theValue2 > -10000000000.01) { &nb

I have an array of information I have collected from radio buttons. I need to know when they chose No to a certain question. Right now I have an app alert displaying the no's for the user. Now I need to copy that information into a Word/Excel document. I need to know the code to copy the array to the clipboard. Also, I named my radio buttons 1, 2, 3 etc. Here is my current code. Is there any way to add additional actions in JS?I'm trying to use the setAction() method to add an additional action to a form created in InDesign. It already has nearly 100 show/hide actions that were set up in the InDesign document. When I try to add a JS action on mouse up using the setAction() method, it deletes all of the other actions instead of adding to. There wasn't previously a JS action on the button I'm trying to add it to, only show/hide fields.Any ideas?I've been trying to create a workaround by using the visibility of a checkbox as a trigger without success...

I want to create a acrobat action to extract single page pdfs to specific names. first I'am using the "Search and Remove Text" under Protection to find the text to be used for the individual file naming. This creates Comments for each page with the unique text for the names. Then I want to use javascript to to do the extracting.I found this code on the forum that extracts single page pdfs. I need the extracted pdfs named by the Contents............ Annots:/ Redacts:/ Contents: with the Annots removed.I've tried to modify the code with no luck. Hi,I have a PDF form with 2 buttons at the top that are set to run a Javascript. One of them saves the file to a specific server location under a certain file name. The other saves it in the same way and also sends an email with the form as an attachment.In previous versions of this form, both buttons worked perfectly fine. I have changed a number of things now about the form itself but no changes were made to the buttons. However, the save function of the buttons no longer work (though the second button still generates an email fine).I've run through every line of Javascript code and confirmed it's the same as the previous version, so I don't think it's the code. I feel like it's a setting on the doc itself, but as far as I can see, they're all the same as well. Any ideas what else (settings or anything else) might block the save function on the buttons from working?Thanks in advance!

This is my first post so any help would be greatly appreciated. My question involves 2 parts:1. I have a PDF form (which was created in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from a MS Word 2010 document) which has 2 radio buttons, each of which will hide a section of the form. I have managed to hide the form fields using "Actions"-"Run javascript" and code for each field which looks like this: this.getField("Field Name").display = display.hidden;However I do not know how to select and hide the text in that section (which is not a text form field) as well as any of the other objects like a table outline. Any help in this regard would really help.2. Now assuming I can hide the section (from part 1) is it possible to get the next section to move up so that there is no white space between the sections?Thanks in advance for the help
