I have a fillable form that is submitted via email.  When I test the received form the submit button is still active in the file that was attached to the email. Is there a script I can add to the submit button that will deactivate the submit button on the file that is emailed? Where would it be placed in the script before var cToAddr = ?Thank you!Kristen

I'm having trouble validating some required fields in an adobe acrobat pdf.  I need to have the submit button validate text/radio buttons/check buttons to be filled out prior to emailing.  I also have some fields that are entered to generate in the subject line of the email.  But the fields highlighted in orange below are not being validated and can be submitted without a value.  I copy and pasted from some of the other buttons code found in the form but I'm sure there's a kink in the code somewhere.  I need them to be just check boxes and not white. See the code for one of the buttons below. Hello,I need help with my java code. I got a form with 3 columns with 160 text fields in each column. They are named A1.0.0-A1.15.9, B1.0.0-B1.15.9, C1.0.0-C1.15.9.What i want to do is take (value of) B1.x.x - C1.x.x and if the difference is more then 1.0 and less then 1.9 i want to give a message to controll that number. I can print from every other app!It goes through the in-app process but then it stalls on "Printing - Looking for printer…" in the queue. My form has a set of fields that I'd like the user to determine how many are necessary. Each block of fields is the same.I'm trying to get the 'Add Sequence' button to display the hidden fields below the preceding fields. Currently, my button works to display 1 block of fields, but I'm wondering if it's possible to get the 'Add Sequence' button to display a sequential hidden field each time it's clicked.

Hi,I'm currently working on a project where we fill a report in MS Access, export in PDF (so far everything work), and (this is a this point that we have trouble) we want to add a signature field with a textbox (to allow the user to sign it and make comments), and send the file location by email.I saw on many forum that we can edit a PDF file with VBA code, especially the function "AcroExch.App", only with Adobe Pro. Literally a noob when it comes to javascripting. I'm wanting to send a pdf form based on 2 dropdown selections when selecting a submit button. Is it possible to calculate numbers that is added to a documents using comments?Like if i for instance add two comments to a document with the numbers 5 and 10. I would like the total value 15 presented in some way.I need this function to be able to make a time estime on how much time is needed to rewrite sections in a larger document.

Hi Great Supporter.My Question is about, i have more than 20 buttons in my form to control specific tasks in the form, so my question is can i make control panel to be shown or hide outside of the area of the form, i succeeded in showing or hiding the controls inside the form, but what i mean something like (floating panel) outside of PDF, in the past days when i was writing lingo scripting language (Macromedia Director Scripting Language) there was a technology called (MIAW) it refer to (Movie in a Window) that is floating window that can call functions to the main movie, i was wonder if something like that is available inside acrobat pro dc via JavaScript so i will give more space to data entries people !, Thanks in Advance

I'm new to scripting and I'm assuming what I am looking for involves scripting.I want to send out a PDF to the staff at work who wants to order a business card. The idea is when they fill the form with their details, a preview of the business card will display their information on the business card mockup.I created the form in InDesign using interactive. Salut!I am preparing a form in Acrobat. I have a listbox (e.g., ListBox1) with 10 items (e.g., item1, item2, item3). I would like to show/hide other form fields (that I already created) dynamically according to users selection from the listbox.For example, if user selects "item1" from ListBox1, I will display only form field#1 or if user selects item2 from ListBox1, I will display only form field#2, and so on...  I will be really looking forward for any suggestions/corrections.------PS. Hi I have a pdf that i need to sort the pages by some of the information on the page.The pages are yodel type labels with a sku on them that I need to sort by the sku.There are upto 1000 pages per PDF so has to be quite fast.Anyone have any scripts and instructions on how to use them as i have read that this is what I need.Thanks

I was using the switch script in a custom calculation script in a dropdown to populate a 2nd dropdown (which works correctly), but I can't actually make a selection in the 2nd dropdown list. The list is made and I can click on it to see the populated options, but clicking off the dropdown list after selecting an option besides the first causes it to revert back to the default choice. I assume it has something to do with the list being re-populated after making my choice, but I have no idea on how to stop it.

I am using .NET C# to populate hidden fields in a PDF form.  I then have written a custom calculation field to concatenate these field values with text to form a dynamic paragraph. I've temporarily removed the hidden property so that I could troubleshoot and when the PDF form comes up I can see these fields have populated.  However the custom calculation script does not seem to see these values as it only shows the 'hardcoded' text from the script.  To simplify the script, I removed all fields to be concatenated except one.  I then put a default value into the text field that would normally get its value from itextsharp.  I then did a preview and the custom calculated field shows the text that I want it to with the default value from the text field.  I am assuming this means the custom calculation javascript is written correctly.
