Hello,My PDF is passed accessibility through Acrobat but when running it through PAC I have stumbled across an issue I can not resolve been doing extensive research but can not the error is..."f or uf key missing in file specification dictionaries"Can anyone tell me how I can resolve this by editing PDF in Acrobat so that it will pass in PAC Checker.Would be great if I could get some help.Thanks everyone!Mike

Is there a way to check a pdf using javascript to see if it has a stamp in it?

I have a dropdown list of various equipment models with a text box beside it that shows the equipment rating. How can I make the equipment rating automatically populate based on the equipment model? So I have a form that I want to count the number of times a value has been checked with a value greater then 1.  For example:So I have a calculation to add the values for total number of SEVERITY.  Create values for the checkboxes.  Now I need a formula or script for the number of symptoms that above a 0 for Vestibular Symptom NUMBER.Any thoughts??I also have another list off 22 that I will need to create something similar.ThanksJason

Before, I had installed Acrobat professional 9.0, and in the console window I saw messages of built-in start script and, of course, some error if it occurred, but now I have installed Acrobat Pro 2017, and  in the console window doesn't appear anything message or error. I have select, in Javascript preference, the next options:- Enable Acrobat JavaScript, Enable JavaScript debugger after Acrobat is restarted,  "Show consoles on errors and messages",

I'm trying to determine if a pdf has layers (I'm very new to Javascript and this API). I am having same problems. I just purchased ADOBE DC and am unable to combine files into a single PDF.Adobe keeps crashing when I try. Windows 10 is my OS and is up to date. I have used the "File > Create > Combine files into a Single PDF" program crashes. I have also the short cut to get to the same place.Also adobe is not recognizing "MS Word 2016: files for conversation to PDF.Please assist.Thanks

I have a timesheet form that adds and populates based on a varied work week.  Normal work week hours can vary by each employee.  I want to auto-populate three boxes "Total Hours", "Regular Hours" and "Overtime Hours" based on whatever is entered in the "Normal Hours" field.ex: if "Normal Hours" = 37  and "Total Hours" = 55, "Regular Hours" should read 37, "Overtime Hours" should read 15.ex: if "Normal Hours" = 37  and "Total Hours" = 35, "Regular Hours" should read 35, "Overtime Hours" should read 0.This reply was spot on, except my sheet is not based on a standard 40 hour work week. It could be 35, 37 etc.Basically, "Regular Hours" should be <= Total Hours but cannot exceed Normal Hours.I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this.Thanks!

It seems simple enough, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I want TextFieldIwantvisible1 and TextFieldIwantvisible2 to appear if Dropdown1 or Dropdown2 is selected. But the default is to keep the Text fields hidden. Here's what I have below. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. How can I hide or disable the floating Page Control Toolbar. I'm continually having to move it out of the way and virtually never use its controls, so it's truly unwelcome (and I don't want the controls cluttering up the menu bar either). Surely this feature isn't mandatory, eh? Thanks for any clues.

I have Acrobat DC 2015.016.20041 and all comments have become not selectable and don't display the text. If I insert a new sticky note it shows the details but all old ones are not viewable.Top Sticky note is the new one but all others don't show. Image 1 below.A friend opened the document in another program (not Adobe) and they can see the comments. Image 2 below.

I have a .pdf with a 'cover page' followed by six hidden templates. Template 1 is called 'PreSurvey1' and template 4 is called 'PostSurvey1' (the others are not required in relation to this question).When clicked, a button on the cover page automatically spawns a copy of each of these templates which appear in sequential order below. This can be done multiple times but the order in which the templates are spawned never changes.I have a text field called TripDates_TB which appears on both Template 1 and 4. However, when the pages are spawned from the templates they assume the prefix P1.PreSurvey1.TripDates_TB and P4.PreSurvey1.TripDates_TB.  This means that the two fields are no longer linked (i.e. you have to enter data into each individually rather than it automatically populating the second instance).So my question is, how would I go about linking them? I have been through the forum and my current thinking is that I would need to use javascript to split the instance of TripDates

I am using  OLE (AcroPDFLib/ AxAcroPDF) in visual studio (VB and C#) and it works great but I need to select bookmarks programmatically on workstations that will only have reader installed. Named destinations will not work for me because I will need the actions associated with the bookmarks, primarily the ability to select a 3d view in a 3d pdf.I have read through Adobe documentation over the last week and have identified 3 possibilitiesOption 1 (preferred)If I develop using the Acrobat Pro libraries could I still distribute to workstations with only reader installed? If so what would I have to do to make it legit?Option 2 I could use document level java (probably) but it looks like I would still have to use Acrobat Pro dll to call the java programmatically because I don't want the user to have to push a control or link in the PDF.  Maybe I am missing something?Option 3Write a custom C++ plugin to expose the ability to select bookmarks via OLE IAC, I have not dug into this op

Hi all,I have a client who has installed Adobe Acrobat Standard and Pro DC on a Citrix (with VDI) environment.  They have multiple front end VDI servers and they have an issue with the license activations. A users can use Adobe Acrobat from any of the multiple front end servers (they are load balanced).  However, if they have already activated Adobe Acrobat on 2 of the servers, when they next activate Adobe Acrobat they may be load balanced to a 3rd server and Adobe Acrobat will not allow the 3rd activation.  They admins then have to get into the licensing and remove the initial 2 activations before they can run Adobe Acrobat again.  They are using serialized licensing.A case has been logged with Adobe support but they solution they provided (ie using serialized license) does not appear to work.Has anyone encountered this issue before and if so how did you manage to resolve it?

Hey guys, I am trying to save a script as binary in extendscript so a client cannot view our code but I am running into an issue. Hopefully someone here knows a workaround. In my script I have it calling to include an outside data file to pull informational values the script needs;#include "/Users/GratefullyDyed/Sublimation/data.js";Now I need to change that file path to the path that will be on my clients computer. When I do that and try to save as binary I get an error that "file path does not exist", because the file path is on their computer and not mine. Is there a simple way around this I am missing? Hi All,I have created a stamp acrobat custom dialog containing a few fields. All works fine when I use the stamp first time but as I choose it again and put on document dialog does not appear for input.I have many old stamps created in past. Those all also having same issue is there any issue with the code or problem with Acrobat DC. I have a PC running WIndows 10. I am using Acrobat DC Pro to attempt to create PDF from my HP Officejet 4635 Scanner.I have previously been able to make this work, but am unable to now. I am using WIA and "custom scan."I am able to scan to PDF using the HP scan to computer function, so I know that the scanner is installed properly and functional.It appears that my scanner works, just not with Acrobat.Please assist me in figuring out how to regain the ability to scan to PDF with Acrobat.

Hi all,I've created a form which has text fields that I'm allowing to overflow the default text area provided. When I'm in form creator view, any field that has overflow text is flagged with a '+' sign in a box, which is great. Is there a way to show this icon in standard PDF view? Ideally, I'd like end-users who fill out the form then print it to be able to easily see which fields have additional text beyond the visible text boundaries.Hope that makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated
