Hello!I have 5000 + PDFs and I need to make the text size "Auto" for two specific fields in many PDFs and to save them without a prompt. I can't find the solution anywhere. I use Adobe Acrobat DC and the files I need to edit are stored locally.   Here's what I have tried. Can someone edit my script?  It is not resizing the fields and I am being prompted to save each one rather than the "Save" function happening automatically. Here are samples of what I tried  that don't work. I have an interesting question. I have an excel sheet that generates a pretty complicated JS script for Acrobat based on a bunch of user inputs in the spreadsheet. I wrote an excel VBA macro that takes this script, opens the desired PDF, opens the JS console, and pastes the code generated code in the console. However, I can't figure out how to actually run this code once it's in the console. Any ideas? Is it possible to make my VB excel macro force Acrobat to execute a JS?So far this is what I have. My code is in column 1, anywhere from 10-500 lines long which is why I did the If statement in the loop to remove blank cells. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC (OEM install on Dell latitude E7470) with Office 2016. Whenever I right click to create PDF with PDF Maker, I get the error message:"An unexpected error occurred. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF"My Office and Adobe are up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both, and I have run acrofix and a repair on Office. I can confirm that Save as PDF, Printer to PDF, and the Acrobat Tool bar for office are all working. I have spent hours trouble shooting this.If this is just a bug with 2016 I need to know so I can stop wasting my time. Anybody have any ideas?Thanks

Here's the quick version of my question. I have an excel spreadsheet that writes a JavaScript script in column A of my spreadsheet based on user inputs. I want to be able to run a vba macro in excel that opens acrobat and runs that javascript. I've already figured out how to open Acrobat using VBA in excel, but have not figured out how to open the JS debugger, paste my code in, and run it.In summary: How can I open the acrobat debugger and run my code using an excel VBA macro?Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

Hi, I'm new to the advanced tools and JS in Acrobat. I have this project that I need to do and I hope you can help me.I need to create a button that when I hover/click my mouse on it, a textbox will appear and people can add/edit/delete texts, and can be multiple lines of text.Pretty much the same as the sticky note/comment tool on PDF, but this needs a more "advanced" approach.Is this possible?Thank you so much in advance!

I'm still learning JS.  I would like to have a dropdown menu in a PDF form where the user selects from the dropdown but when he clicks on it, a different output occurs.  Example, user selects "G2 - Security" in the dropdown but "ARNO-G2" is what's displayed on the form.  Is this possible?

Hey,I am getting "Acrobat could not compare the document completely. Do you want to see the report anyway?" error.Before it was working fine but after upgrading to windows 10 it stopped working.Operating system: Windows 10 ProAcrobat version: Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.17)Under File->Properties->Description->Advanced->PDF Producer it says "Python PDF library - http://pybrary.net/pyPdf/After selecting first document it will automatically select "Presentation decks, drawings or illustrations" but it should stay on "Reports, spreadsheets, magazine layouts".I have tried reinstalling Adobe Acrobat DC Pro but it didn't help.It works if i open pdf with word and save it as pdf but our client doesn't want to make those steps, because it worked before.

I have recently inherited a system that uses AdobeForms to collect data, the system has been untouched for 12 months. I now have 1812 emails sitting in an inbox - each one with a response pdf attached.Is there any other way to export the data to the response file, other than clicking on each file individually? Using Adobe Acrobat DC - Create PDF Firefox extension Add-on (as well happens using Chrome extension) gives this errorI tried using different web pages.Also happens when I tried to combine several files and one of them is a web page file (url or local file).it stopped working. I was using this extension for more than a week.Other times gives this error.Best regards.

I want to make  pdf automatically fill the first date for next monday. example: now is monday 8/14/2017, the date fill with this date, but if i make timesheet tomorrow, (tuesday 8/15/2017) the first date will show next monday date (8/21/2017). Hi,I've got a simple function that I have added to the 'DocumentJavascripts' in Acrobat in order to change the style of a field.  I know that for a single field, I can use the 'blur' and 'focus' triggers to run it. I save a PDF into an Oracle BLOB Object in C#.net using ODP.  I read the data into an OracleBlob object using pdf.pdfDoc = (dr.IsDBNull(1)) ? null : dr.GetOracleBlob(1);How do I view this object so that it looks like a PDF??

Im new to javascript and have no idea what I am doing. Im making a form which, when a check box is marked, requires another field to be filled. In my screenshot, there is a check box if a person was referred by a doctor. I want to require the name and phone number of the doctor if the check box is checked. I have been looking around the forums but I don't seem to be able to find an answer to my question. Im certain someone knows how to help me with all of this great knowledge in the forum. I appreciate your help. Please keep in mind, javascript is NOT a forte.

In illustrator, i can create outline for text.How should I do the same in Acrobat SDK?

I created a template in Scribus and added pdf forms fields before saving it as a pdf. I then opened the pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and entered the following scripts in my percentage fields, but neither worked.if(event.value == 0 | event.value = "") event.value = "";if( Number(event.value) == 0) event.value = "";I entered each on their own, but neither worked. I also tried entering them in the "Run custom validation script:" and "Custom Calculation Script" sections and neither worked. Currently, my form will print out "0.00%" when no value is inputted into said fields. I want the fields to print blank if no value is entered. Any help is highly appreciated, thanks!

I cannot seem to delete pdf files under windows 10

I already have a custom calculation script setup but I wanted to fix it a bit. var v1 = Number(this.getField("NMS").value);  var v2 = Number(this.getField("CMS").value);  var v3 = Number(this.getField("CMS").value);  if (v3==0) event.value = "";  else event.value = (v1-v2)/v3;The script is giving me what I want in percentage. But what if I enter $5,000 in field "CMS" but left a $0.00 or blank in the field "NMS" yes it will give me a -100% in percent box but that's not what I want. I want the percentage to stay as "0.00" because if I do it the other way around such as $5,000 in the field of "NMS" but left a a $0.00 or blank in the field I get a "0.00" in percentage box. I need help from anyone.
