Questions

I tried modifying the Dynamic file and adding my own dynamic stamp, but now there are absolutely no Dynamic stamps available in the Stamps menu.  I was following a tutorial I found on the web.  How do I at least get my regular Dynamic Stamps back?  There is a Dynamic file in the ENU folder, but it's as if Acrobat doesn't access it.Thanks!

Ik heb volgend probleem. ik krijg van mijn klant pdf-bestand met embedded lettertypes (SegoeUI TrueType CID Identity-H). Als ik de pdf omzet naar ps en daarna terug naar pdf omzet met de standaard adobe programma's, dan zijn op sommige pagina's van de pdf de tekst met dit lettertype onleesbaar geworden. (idem als ik de originele pdf print naar pdf) De originele pdf va de klant is aangemaakt met iTextSharp 4.1.6 by 1T3XT pdf-version 1.4(Acrobat 5.x). Heeft iemand hier een uitleg voor ?

Hi, does anyone know if its possible to write a script to put in the Format > Custom > Customer Format Script section of a Text Field so that only hyperlinks (URL) can be entered?  So, after the link is entered, I can just click on it and bring me to the web page?Thanks!

Is there a way that I could make the month all lower case once the date has been validated? I've tried event.value = event.value.toLowerCase() in the action tab once the field is deactivated and what not...  It may not seem like much but it's a flagrant spelling error in French. Thank you if someone can help.

I am using the script below in a button on the first page of an 8 page document. Its purpose is to flatten the first six pages of the form and leave pages 7 and 8 unaffected by the script. However, all 8 pages are flattened by this script. I am not using and do not need the optional nNonPrint parameter. this.flattenPages({    nStart: 0,    nEnd: this.numPages - 2,    });Am I doing something incorrectly? How can I accomplish my objective of leaving the last 2 pages undisturbed by this script?Also, since the AcrobatUsers.com forum was replaced, I don't believe I have ever received a response to a question I have posted here, whereas before I nearly always received a response. Is there a way, with JavaScript in Acrobat, to find the DPI scaling settings of the current display?I'm talking about the "Change the size of text, apps and other items" settings in Windows:Setting this to more than 100% has adverse effects on the text displayed in dialogues I create using app.execDialog().

I am trying to write a plugin to allow me to silently print in the tiled format, is this possible? I do not see any of the settings I would expect and many of the ones that have 'tiled' in the name are now obsolete.Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksKory

I am having trouble creating a Custom calculation script in my Adobe Acrobat XI Standard. I have a table with fields row_1, row_2, row_3, row_4, row_5, row_6, row_7, row_8, row_9, row_10, row_11, row_12, row_13, row_14, row_15. I have a field that already calculates the mean, that field name is mean. Hi I generated an interactive PDF using Phantom. I have a short script to enter the current date when clicking in a field. The triggers can be any of Up, Down, etc but I have used MouseUp. This works just fine in a Foxit reader. BUT, when opening the form in Adobe Acrobat XI, the action only triggers on the NEXT click after my initial click in the date field, no matter whether this next click is in another field or in open space.My code is :var f = this.getField("RecvdByDate");f.value = util.printd("dd mmm yyyy", new Date());Thanks in anticipation

The issue is that I want my custom-made Tool Button to allow the user to select where he wants to place his stamp. The stamp I made for him.This functionality exists with the stamps given by Adobe Acrobat. There, when you select a stamp, your cursor turns into the stamp and you can choose where it lands. Is this something I can code or is it not possible?Thank you in advance!

I have prepared in Indesign 15 interactive PDFs that are controlled from a dashboard (also in PDF).What I want to do is that the Dashboard can call the other PDFs with a script on a button.The idea is not to make a single PDF, because it would be very heavy, but as people browse the interactive and click on the buttons show the corresponding PDF. But everything from the same frame.In overview, while browsing the user see a single PDF (do not know that there are several).Can you help me?

Hi GuysI would be grateful for some help with this as new to javascript.Im looking to create an action within acrobat to batch delete pages. These PDF documents are varied with the total number of pages. I would like to delete all pages but keep the first and last two pages within the document, so 4 pages remaining after running the script. Thanks Alex

I would like to setup watched folder and execute Adobe Action on any file saved into this folder. Can this be achieved with Action Script, windows batch or some other way ? I have tried to find something on Google but not much luck. Any suggestions ???

Hi,Is there a way to detect if the user selects pdf's for an action wizard from anywhere other than their c:// drive?  I noticed that when they select pdf's from anywhere other than c:// and run the action wizard and then go back to selecting other files from the c://, it just does not execute but on 1st file.  I read this has something to do with a bug where Adobe thinks the other files are open when they are not.   Anyway, my thought on this is to generate an app.alert when the user selects pdf's from anywhere other than c:// to prevent this from happening in the first place.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.S

Hi,How can I write javascript could where user receives an error message (app.alert) if another pdf file is open?  My program only works if one pdf file is open.  When another is open, it does not work b/c it detects 2 active pdfs open instead of just one.  I want the user to be alerted to close the other pdf before proceeding.  The following did not work:if event.target > 1app.alert ("Close all pdfs before proceeding.",3);else ...Please suggest an alternative code. Hello,I need to automate the Word (docx) export process. After a PDF file is generated from an automated publishing process using FrameMaker, I need to optionally export that PDF as a Word file. This has to be done without any user interaction. Is this possible? There seems to be plenty of ways to control Acrobat through IAC, but I can't see how to do what is needed. The option to export Word files or not will be set in a configuration file.Thanks in advanceIan

HiIn our work environment, we use an add-on tool to stamp a document.  With Adobe X and Adobe XI professional and standard, we have the ability to right click on the tool in the add-on tools and to make a shortcut on the top menu bar.  However--I am not finding this ability with Adobe DC.  If a person wants to use the add-on tool--they must click on the add-on tools on the right--then click on the appropriate tool.  Some of our employees have to sign several documents--so it is somewhat time consuming.If anyone could assist with this, I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you

I have created a drop down list with 10 selections in it. Based on selection of that drop down list a different drop down list opens. How would I set validation for min and max dollar amount based on choice. Thanks M
