Printing to PDF in Specsintact via Acrobat 9 no longer works after recent Windows update

Recently there was a Windows 7 "important" update that was installed.  Since the update I have not been able to publish to PDF from Specsintact.  Distiller creates a log file that reads "%%[ Warning: Empty job. No PDF file produced. ] %%". A system restore from before the update was successful to restore this function.  However, my computer auto-updated again and the publish to pdf no longer works again.  I have tried printing to pdf from other programs and was successful.  Anyone else experience this since a recent Windows 7 update?  Anyone know how to fix?  Everything worked fine until this update
