Question

In the past, I was able to convert PDFs to WORD from my laptop. Why do I now have to log on to your site to perform this function?

I asked a question.  It appears in thr line above.  Why can't someone just answer it, without me having to go through all this?

    Hi genesys2006,

I'm assuming that your saying you've accessed ExportPDF from within Reader previously, and are no longer able. Is that correct? You should still be able to, as your subscription is active, and all is well there.

Please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader to make sure that you have the most current version. Earlier versions of Reader could cause sign-in errors.

If that's not the issue you're facing, please let us know. We'll get this sorted out!

    Best,
    Sara

    Sara,

"Please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader to make sure that you have the most current version. Earlier versions of Reader could cause sign-in errors."

I clicked on HELP, and got no option to check for updates. Frustration level is rising.

What version of Adobe Reader are you using? I want to help you get this sorted out, but need to know more about how you were converting PDFs from your laptop and what may  have changed on your system. There should definitely be an option to Check for Updates in both the Reader and Acrobat Help menus.
