Hello,

I'm seeking clarification on whether I can use Adobe Stock vector illustrations on food packaging that will be sold in store. If the extended license is purchased for the Adobe Stock vector illustration can it be used on the packaging? This product will be sold in stores across the U.S.

Licences are not limited to a territory. And yes, you can use Adobe stock assets on packaging.

As for the licence needed, you may use an extended licence if you want. The extended licence covers the highest degree of applications. However, if the asset is not the primary value of the good and some other restrictions are followed, you may even be good with a standard licence.

See here the restrictions for the standard licence:

(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).
