Adobe Stock - License button unexpectedly makes purchase and there is no way to reverse it

On the adobe stock page, clicking the license button unexpectedly completes a purchase and there is no way to undo this. The purchase should be confirmed in the next step or at least the user should have the option to undo the purchase if they have not yet downloaded the asset, as the License button doesn't download the asset. Users who are not fequently purchasing stock can easily make this mistake and lose credits, which is unfair.

I agree, that there could still be an undo, not automatically download option. But as the asset is automatically downloaded after licensing, there is no undo.

This is a premium image. You got asked a confirmation, and you confirmed your choice. For a one credit asset, you get no confirmation asked. Licensing downloads the asset automatically. You should train your users before giving them the privilege to license assets.

If you are a Teams or Enterprise customer, you need to talk to your plan administrator to contact Adobe customer support.

If you have an individual plan, contact Adobe customer support yourself. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled, you must accept cookies! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device and/or browser to start the interaction.
