Adobe Stock vector Download Not Working

I can download vector files from Stock into my CC library, but when I try and open the files in Illustrator I always get a 'this item cannot be edited because it is still being downloaded' message, which never gets resolved. I also have no way of downloading to my computer. I have an unlimited assets subscription and the files are licensed. What am I missing here?
