Asset no longer available

I have tried to restore a link in an InDesign document, but the asset which I bought in 2017 is no longer available? #8256812.

How is it possible to restore or at least increase my available assets by 1 if this is not possible?

Many thanks

You should keep a local copy of the assets. If an asset gets deleted from the database, it can't be downloaded any more. As a side note: InDesign works with local copies, so the asset was on your disk at some point and you have deleted it.

As for your second point: 2017 is 5 years ago. I doubt that Adobe is willing to get you a replacement licence for something that is that long ago. But you can try: Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device to start the interaction.

Adobe either let someone buy out the series, or could not come to an agreement with the author. We used adobe previews to get print work approved and hours before the items needed to go to print Adobe remove them from adobe stock, leaving me unable to make my tradeshow based deadline. Adobe does not care about your business or you. If there is a better deal for them to sellout an asset or stop carrying it because its too expensive, they will leave you high and dry. Like when Acrobat stopped supporting javascript or when they decided Muse or other applications were no longer profitable and just discontinue them. They are not committed to their custoers only their stock holders.EOS

There are so many false assertions in your post - 2 of them in the first sentence alone. The reason that assets are removed from the database is that 1) the Contributor closes their account and no longer sells on Adobe Stock; or 2) Adobe has received a credible DMCA take down notice on that asset. Adobe does not pay Contributors to upload images; nor do they negotiate a price with us. We earn royalties when our assets are licensed.
