how can I view the metadata of the camera used per image?

This is necessary, for example, to combine an Adobe Stock image with a rendered image from a 3D object.

Correct answer Abambo

of course there are many other ways...

but it is as well possible to choose a horse to ride 100k - or a train 🙂

As a matter of a fact, it's not possible to know beforehand whether the desired information is included or not.

I'm curious why this might be wanted. The colour space of images is standardised, and the size in pixels is available. Why would a render care about the camera? Maybe trying to match F-stop?

Matching the lens settings, so that the 3D assets inserted feel right.

exactly this is the reason Abambo

It is an important indication for the 3D artist to render a particular angle of an 3D-asset as 2D image to compose this 2D image into an existing environment shot

The appearance of the rendered 2D image out of the 3D-asset depends much on the used lense, the focal lenght and angle of view of the lense - so this is not only a hint for the artist, but a huge making work easier and more high level for the artist

The metadata is only available, if the contributor included that information in the file. As it is a not required part, there is no guarantee that the metadata is present. If it is present, it is present as any metadata with any JPEG file.
