Hi All,

I'm looking to purchase a standard image of an interior of a house, i will then edit the image to showcase my product within the standard image i will purchase, which i will then list on Ebay.

I have an attached an image to show you what i mean more clearly - Where it says "my image goes here" is where i will display my product for sale (which is artwork), i will only use the stock photo for background purposes on Ebay and not to sell the image.

In this case can i purchase just a standard license of the image, or do i need to buy the extended license for it?

    Hi there,

Any asset which is featured for merchandise or for reselling purpose requires an extended license. I understand that you are only going to use an Adobe Stock asset as a background and not for reselling, in such scenario a standard license should be okay.

However, to make the standard license usage legitimate in this scenario, I would suggest you to merge multiple Adobe stock assets together and then modify them for creating the background image (For example- combining four or five files into one image and altering the colour with effects etc).

Please refer to the licensing terms and restrictions of Adobe Stock Stock Licensing & terms FAQ: Where can I find the terms and licensing information for Adobe Stock?  for more information.

Feel free to update this thread in case of any additional questions.
