Can I purchase just one image?
I don't want to buy out the whole monthly package, just pay for one, single image? Is that possible at all?

Hello,
in this case I would use the "first month free" option. In my German Stock photos, royalty-free images, graphics, vectors & videos | Adobe Stock (sorry it doesn't change to US version) I found:
what means something like:
How does the free Adobe Stock Probe subscription work?
Certain subscription options offer a free trial period of one month. You can cancel the subscription for free in the first month, but if you continue to use the subscription, you will be billed for the costs specified for the selected contract on a monthly basis.
