Can't save asset to library from Adobe Stock

Since Adobe chat support is nearly useless I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm unable to save any assets to my CC library from Adobe Stock.

I get an error each time:

"Could not save asset into Stock Photos"

I've restarted CC, logged out and back in, restarted computer, cleared cache to on avail. My other team members on the account are having the same issue. Any ideas?

Hi M.,

There are a few reasons you might be getting that error. Is it only one library or all libraries?

  • Poor internet connection, try connecting to a different network and see if that fixes the issue.
  • If you have more than 1000 assets in a library this can prevent new items from being added. Try adding the file to a new library if you can.
  • If any of the files in your library is named with an invalid character it will prevent you from adding new items to the library. View your library: https://assets.adobe.com/libraries and check your file names. If you don't see anything that stands out try moving or copying the files in the affected library to a new library to narrow down the culprit. Unfortunately Windows and Mac have different characters that are acceptable for file naming. What works on one system may not work on the other.

Please update this thread with what you discover. Your feedback can be helpful to others.

The library has 1,001 assets in it. Creating a new library did the trick.

It would be nice to add a message stating that the library can no longer accept any more assets once it reaches 1,001 instead of just stating a generic error message.

Hi, are you trying this flow on Adobe Stock Website? Or you are using Stock search within CCLibraries Panel?

Few questions:

- Could you please give more details about the library you are trying to save to?
Do you own it, is it collaborated one? Maybe the name of the library is long or has special characters etc?
- The library you are trying to save to - does it contain 1000+ assets?
Thank you,
Mariia
