Combined Thread: Download issues week of 07/26/2023

This is the combined thread of users experiencing issues with downloading assets from the Adobe Stock website.

Please answer the following questions if your post has been moved to this thread:

  1. What ISP are you using?
  2. What asset types are you having issues with? Photos, videos, etc.
  3. Does switching to a VPN resolve the issue for you?

 

We are working to resolve this issue and your responses will help us determine next steps.

I see several people have reported that they are no longer experiencing download issue in this thread. If you have previously posted to this thread and are still having issues please reply to this post.

Just following up that I am no longer experiencing download issues.

ISP: AT&T Fiber

Region: Texas, USA

VPN: No
Assets: All assets (video, photo, vector) downloading normally

UPDATE-  after reading the most recent comments today about AT&T, I turned off my AT&T internet and used my Verizon android phone as a Hotspot for wi-fi and was able to download 6MB vectors without delay.  Trying to figure out why (based on all the comments) this appears to be an AT&T and Adobe issue. AT&T is clueless as to why this is happening, go figure (eyeroll) but does anyone have any technical understanding of how we might fix this?!  AT&T fiber is the only provider around for my business...using the Hotspot off my phone is like cooking a seven course dinner with a matchstick.

1. AT&T Gigabit Fiber Optic High Speed Internet.

2. Photos and Vector files (what I normally search for and download)

3. I do not have a VPN to switch to. I did try a private browser window with no change however switching to my iPhone as my hotspot on my Macbook Pro allowed for downloads to complete quickly. This isolated the problem for me to an AT&T+Adobe Stock website issue. Something is being filtered or blocked at some point with that combination.

I am experiencing the same issue these other folks are on this thread/post/forum.

Made no changes to settings or procedures.

Did all the suggested things, cleared cache, cookies, browser history, switched from Firefox to Chrome to Safari.

ISP: AT&T - I am getting excellent high-speed downloads on everything else.

I am in So Cal

Using a Mac.

I need photos and vectors.

I've switched from my company account (this one), to my private account and it's doing the same thing.

 

Please resolve sooooooon!

Thanks for the validation of there being an ongoing issue @Michelle26305830vis8 . I'm in Central Cal. Also AT&T High Speed ISP (1GB fiber optic lines). No other issues on any other sites. Speed tests are great. Also on iMac desktop and Macbook pro laptop. The next thing for me to try is attempting to download off-site on guest wi-fi (like Starbucks or something) to rule out a network issue. Other than that, it would seem to have to be an Adobe Stock server-side issue, a profile issue or some sudden down throttling of that specific URL for some reason. I've also cleared cache and cookies. Logged in and out. Restarted EVERYTHING mulitple times. I am part of an Enterprise account for licensing as faculty at a university. That does not allow me to contact support directly. It just says to contact my administrator. Which I have done and they have reached out to Adobe with no response yet. Really need help resolving this @everyone.

Just an update here… I connected my laptop to my iPhone mobile hotspot and trie to download and it worked fine. Quick download as usual. So based on other comments here, and being on the phone with AT&T tech support, it seems to be an AT&T issue with the Adobe Stock website. I'm not sure how that helps anyone or what the solution is. Perhaps there are some security filters or something with either an Adobe or AT&T recent upgrade? My issue is just the last 4 days or so (after years of perfect service) and I have AT&T fiber optic 1GB lines like most others here.

This is a first time issue for me but I can not complete downloads of any Adobe Stock files. Adobe Creative Cloud apps upgrade fine. Libraries within apps are working. Fonts download and update correctly.

 

I have tried different browsers. Different devices. Ethernet and wi-fi. Restarted computers. Restarted internet gateway and modem. Troublshooting with ISP. Contacted the Enterprise admin for the Adobe licenesed account. Nothing has worked. This is a 4-5 day old issue after years of zero issues.

 

All that happens is the download progress continues to ramp up the time for downloading and times out eventually. For images and vector files. All of which typically took seconds. Could this be a profile issue? Some other technical issue I have not tried? Thanks for any help! This is crippling my work.

No luck here on downloading assets. Using AT&T Internet, Macbook Pro, everything updated, cleared cache and such, restarted, all that. Download is showing that it's going to take minimum 2 hours for 11MB
