Can a company let resellers use adobe images they use for product images on their website and the reseller's site legally? Please site your answer. Images are not used on the physical product.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for reaching out to the Adobe Stock community. As per your requirements you can transfer the license to the client as stated in the term 3.4 a( as mentioned above in Jonathan' reply), however, you can license an asset on behalf of a client. However, please note that if you want to use the same asset for different clients, the asset must be licensed separately for each client use.

For more information, you may also refer to Common Questions, Adobe Stock

Please note: If you are using any asset for reselling purpose or merchandise, you must use an Extended license.

Standard license will allow you to use the asset for a website but you must include a credit line to the photographer, if using an unmodified image from Adobe Stock.

If the images are licensed and then modified(majorly), then the credit line becomes optional.

(Modify the images to an extent that they do not resemble the original one or do not retain the originality)

You may also refer to Stock Licensing & terms FAQ: Where can I find the terms and licensing information for Adobe Stock? for more information.

Hope this information helps!
