Question

corrupted files from adobe stock

Hi,

I am downloading 3 different images from Adobe Stock in .ai format. I can't open them in Inkscape, which just tells me "couldn't load the file". When I try to convert them with some online tools, it's also impossible. It seems that the files are corrupted and can't be used. What can I do about this?

Thank you

Maja Borkowska

.ai files can be opened in Adobe Illustrator. Go to your license history and select download as jpeg instead of .ai.

Hi @Maja5E0E

If you are choosing File > Open, then try:

  • Drag and drop from Mac Finder / Windows File Explorer
  • File > Import

If neither works, post the link or number of one of the files and I'll try to open it in Illustrator to see if it is corrupted or not.
