Disingenuous price increase statement

So the Creative Cloud subscription has been increased.  OK, but it isn't really sound for Adobe to say this as their excuse:

"Over the years, we’ve extended our popular creative products across surfaces, added more resources to Adobe Fonts and Adobe Stock, and introduced new collaboration tools – all available with your Creative Cloud membership."

 

Adobe Stock is not included in the Creative Cloud membership so please don't claim "more resources" added to Stock as a benefit for subscribers!

Could you share with me where you are seeing, Over the years, we’ve extended our popular creative products across surfaces, added more resources to Adobe Fonts and Adobe Stock, and introduced new collaboration tools – all available with your Creative Cloud membership? I did not see this in the message sent out about the price increase nor in the help link provided in the message.

Perhaps they are using sophisticated targeting to adjust the emails they send out... maybe using an Adobe product to help 🙂

 

Here is the email from Adobe received today:

 

Subject: Updates to your Creative Cloud subscription

 

We hope you are enjoying Creative Cloud, and we want to share an important update about your subscription price.

The price of Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB increased on April 27, 2022, and you will be charged US $54.99/month (plus applicable taxes) on your next renewal date.

Your subscription will renew automatically on 28-October-2022 (PT) and you will be charged the new subscription price monthly. Your subscription will automatically renew annually until you cancel (price subject to change). You may cancel at any time via  Adobe Account or  Customer Support.

Our goal with Creative Cloud is to continue to provide you with ongoing innovation through the addition of new apps and services which are designed to make your membership more valuable and enhance your creative experience. Over the years, we’ve extended our popular creative products across surfaces, added more resources to Adobe Fonts and Adobe Stock, and introduced new collaboration tools – all available with your Creative Cloud membership.
