Do rollover assets expire?

Question

I'm a pretty light user of Adobe Stock, and I had 120 assets at the beginning of the month. Now it's near the end of the month, and I have 48 (I used two this morning). I didn't use the 70 I had prior, and I've never bought an Asset Pack.

I called Adobe Support and they told me rollover assets expire. All the pages on the support website say that rollover protection prevents this from happening. So which is it? Where'd my 70 available assets go? I feel like a fool for purchasing this product; if I had known up front that Adobe would arbitrarily strip me of my unused assets I would have just stuck with Getty Images. 😞

Rollover credits expire after a year. So, if you have a 10-assets-per-month subscription, you will never get more than 120 credits to roll over. If you have a different subscription, like the 40/month, and you licence video, you use up more than one credit per operation.

If you had credit packs, they too have a lifespan of one year.
