Question

Does Adobe require a credit to the artist when using a mogrt or graphic transition file?

The mogrt would be used for a lower third name and title. The video would be posted to YouTube. If so, I'll need to avoid using Adobe Stock.

I would say no, as the effect is not media. But I can err.

Look here for more information on licensing: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/links-for-licensing-terms/td-p/11366788
(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).

Here is the text of the Attribution clause in the Adobe Stock License Agreement

Thank you! I had read through, but was a bit confused between this document and another I had found on the site. It's starting to seem like I'll need to avoid using anything on Adobe stock just in case.

Why is that? It should be easy to confirm whether the conditions in the above clauses 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3 apply to your project.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
