Question

Does anyone else find that you download a AI/Vector file and it's just a jpeg placed in?

I have found a lot lately when downloading vector icons from Adobe stock that when you open the file it’s just a png or jpeg place in to the file. The artist - Lambe does this a lot (2023381250 and 2023381063). People are paying for these graphics and they are not the correct files. Does Adobe not check files and approve them? Wouldn't have this issue with iStock.

mislead stock pretending to be vector but its Raster JPG inside adobe illustrator ai file

This entire account appears to be AI generated JPGs pasted into AI files with no editing capabilities at all. I downloaded an asset I needed for work and it’s clearly a JPG, I test another one and it’s a JPG. It’s too bad, they are seemingly spamming

Adobe does check the assets, but there are some bad assets slipping through or having slipped through. Let’s tag @Contributor1 for comments on this. If you need credits back, please contact customer service via the chat.
