Downloaded asset in error -- what to do?

Recently I have had some poor experiences with the Adobe Support Chat. As a last resort I am wondering if the shame approach might prove fruitful.

I just clicked on an asset by mistake and cancelled the download yet a credit was taken away immediately.

I asked an agent for help. At first he said he has helped many times (stock response, oh the irony!!) then he said it is not possible upon realising what the request was.

I notice two posts where the license has been cancelled and the credit restored.

Any help would be appreciated. I will be happy to DM the details.

If the same rules apply worldwide, you generally cannot return purchased assets.

However, the situation is different if there is a problem with the asset.

Those posts were from 3 years & 9 years ago, respectively.

You’re a bit late to the party.

    Sorry.

Adobe employees do not monitor this user-to-user Contributor forum.

This post belongs in the Stock forum where employees are more likely to see it.

Stock customers should download & evaluate Previews first. Downloading Previews costs you nothing.  See screenshot.

    Hope that helps.

Posted in wrong forum … point taken, my mistake! If I could I would re-categorise.

Preview before downloading … ofc, I am familiar with this option but I was logged in and clicked the download button instead of the image to zoom in. There was no chance to confirm my action either.

You have posted in the wrong forum. You might have better luck in the Stock forum.
