However when placing in ai i get the following error message.

Hi Daniel,

I apologize for the troubles that you're facing with the Stock image download.

I downloaded the image as mentioned by you in the post above and opened it in the Illustrator app and it was opening fine for me.

Can you please try to download the file from another browser and save it locally on your machine and then open it in the Illustrator app?
