Question

Extended license case for projects

Hello,

I'm currently slightly uncertain in regards to when which license has to be used for products. For instance within board games on the public market, where pictures from the stock library could be used as playing cards, thereby being an essential aspect of the product yet not representing its main monetary value. Would this sample case mean a standard license serves the purpose or would it require advanced licenses to be sold as a product?

Thanks, Tim

Sorry, but your question can't be answered, without an in-depth analysis of your use case. For that, you would need to consult a lawyer specialized in IP.

Look here for more information on licensing: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/links-for-licensing-terms/td-p/11366788
(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).
