extended license rights

HI
I am an advertising graphic designer and I work in a company,
one of our clients commissioned us some shopping bags with photos on them.
This customer, in turn, would like to sell these shops.
What should I do with the extended license?
How can I pass it on to him?

As a side note: I just don't see, what that would change. Either they are keeping the bags, and they can continue using them, or they design new bags and they do not need the pictures. The extended licenses will not influence the value of the assets to be transferred.
