For Commercial Use

Hi, I am wanting to design some t-shirts to sell. I'm confused by all the commercial copyrights laws. Are the "free" images okay to use to design a t-shirt with the intent of selling it? I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

It isn't just copyright, it's the license. You need to read the license for each image you want to use. The free images have a "standard" license - this does not allow merch. You'd need an "extended" license. There is no way to get an extended license for the free images, you have to choose from the non-free images -  you won't find the same image.
