Free image for merchandise

Id like to use a free image for merchandise. There is no option with the image to purchase an extended license.

No, you can't purchase an extended licence, even if you would want one. Images in the free collection are for one year in the free collection. If they don't get reallocated in that collection, they are again open for sales, and you can at that moment acquire the extended licence.

 

But I agree, Adobe could also have opted for a free standard and a payable extended licence. They decided not to do that, maybe to avoid confusion. So free is free, but not extended.
