Had no idea the free trial ended with a year long commitment?!?!

Hello, I had no idea a trial of this service would put me in a year long commitment for this service that had a PENALTY fee to cancel. I feel duped and taken advantage of. I haven't seen any other company do this.

This is unfair and a complete scam. Adobe can check my account and see that I haven't even used it. Maybe downloaded 2 photos during the trial period.

What's going on here?

The terms and conditions state clearly, that after the initial month, you will get charged and you will have a one year subscription. The early termination fee is stated in the terms and conditions. I recommend that next time, you take a subscription, you read all the relevant information. It's for sure not a scam.

To get you out of this situation, I recommend you to contact Adobe customer care and to negotiate your way out. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device to start the interaction.
Support phone numbers may be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html. Please note that phone charges may apply.
